VMMC GREEN ROOF STUDY – SEATTLE, WA

ORA worked with Virginia Mason Medical Center to envision a living roof on their existing facilities. The reimagined roofscape provides improved air quality, reduced noise pollution and improved thermal performance. Additionally the gardens serve as a patient amenity commensurate with Virginia Mason’s stated goal of a natural, and sustainable, healing environment. The study included an analysis of the existing structure for feasibility.
