PORT ANGELES FINE ARTS CENTER AMPHITHEATER

ORA is assisting Port Angeles Fine Arts Center and Port Angeles Parks & Recreation to create an intimate amphitheater at the heart of Webster’s Woods, the sculpture park adjoining the Fine Arts Center. The existing picnic area will be regraded to create a gently sloping lawn centered around an engaging new stage with a covered roof and flexible backstage spaces, nestled within the forest. The amphitheater will provide a highly adaptable venue for theatrical and music performances as well as education, special events, and everyday activities that serve the Port Angeles community. The project will include new ADA accessible pathways, stabilized grass seating areas. Schematic Design was completed in Spring 2025, and sitework is scheduled to proceed in Summer 2025.
