YOUNGSTOWN CULTURAL ARTS CENTER’S CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED
We’re thrilled to share these photos of the newly completed renovations at the historic Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, a cultural hub operated by Delridge Neighborhoods Downtown Association serving diverse audiences in Southwest Seattle.

The Theater upgrades included removal of a dysfunctional raised stage and reconfiguration of the seating to create a more intimate, flexible and universally accessible venue that more effectively supports theatrical, music, and dance performances, as well as enabling larger flat-floor events and community gatherings.

The new retractable seating improves flexibility and audience comfort, while upgraded lighting, AV, and theatrical systems enhance DNDA’s ability to better serve Youngstown’s diverse community. The project included renewed finishes, energy efficiency lighting and mechanical upgrades, remediation of structural deficiencies, and transformation of the existing Kitchen and Servery to facilitate community cooking classes and enhance events/rental capacity.

It’s been a great honor working with DNDA over the past five years, and we’re delighted by the positive feedback they’ve been receiving about their renewed facility!
