YOUNGSTOWN CULTURAL ARTS CENTER BEGINS CONSTRUCTION

Youngstown Cultural Arts Center renovation has begun! Demo is underway, with removal of the existing raised stage to create a more intimate and flexible black-box theater space.

The revitalized theater will include new retractable seating, updated lighting and AV, new wood stage flooring, and related finish upgrades, providing a highly adaptable and fully accessible performance space as well as accommodating a wide range of community events with the seating system retracted.

The project also includes upgrading the existing kitchen and servery, major mechanical and lighting energy efficiency upgrades, and upgraded roofing with enhanced insulation. The project is scheduled to complete in Spring 2024!
