WENATCHEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER – WENATCHEE, WA

A 500 seat performance venue for music, theater, lecture and film, the facility is a cultural center-piece in the city of Wenatchee. The PAC created a new public face for Wenatchee Center, enhancing the connection to Wenatchee’s central urban park. Owen Richards, as principal at LMN Architects, was the lead architect from pre-design through construction. The theater is widely recognized as an excellent acoustic space for musical performances. Extensive fundraising support was provided from pre-design through post-completion. Sustainable design features include solar shading, energy efficient lighting and mechanical systems, solar panels (added post-completion) and recycled material use.
